- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I was in public safety as 911 call taker and radio dispatcher, Sheriffs deputy, EMT-paramedic and firefighter and the Pikeville Post dispatchers are understaffed over worked and underpaid but would it be to much to ask to take 2 seconds to not be rude and snippy. I went to the same DOCJT academy class in Richmond as you did, Class 009 Valedictorian. An I don't recall talking down & rudeness squeezed in between CJIS and EMD I know minutes matter but tone of your voice doesn't take time. You are the true first responders the community puts their unwavering trust in you. I know you may be having a bad day, I'm going to bet theirs is worse.
